The charity Bottesford Community Library Association (BCLA) has taken over running the library from Leicestershire County Council from 26 October 2015, in order to keep it open.

BCLA volunteers now run the library and we will continue to provide all the usual library services for the Parish of Bottesford and the surrounding area. So you will still be able to reserve and borrow books, as well as use the computers and look at the local history collection.

In addition to the core services we are running regular community activities such as day time book groups for adults, childrens story times, author talks, games clubs, drop-ins and many more events. We are continuing to extend the range of services to incorporate talking books, eBooks, eMagazines, eAudioBooks, eNewspapers and online book renewals and reservations.
